Every four years, Texcare International in Frankfurt am Main is the center of the global laundry, dry-cleaning and textile-service industry. Here, the textile-care sector takes a look into the future
The range of products and services at Texcare reflects the entire spectrum of current challenges: In addition to highly efficient technologies for sorting, washing, cleaning, drying, pressing and finishing, the latest developments in automation, IT, detergents, textiles, logistics, energy and sustainability will also be on show. Suppliers and experts from all over the world meet at Texcare.
We met Texcare Director Johannes Schmid-Wiedersheim for an interview and talked to him about topics, trends and innovations. There are also insights into the event programme and the market influence that Texcare has as a driving force in the sector.
There is great anticipation for Texcare 2024. In a digital press conference on 25 June, representatives of the industry associations VDMA and DTV as well as Messe Frankfurt exchanged views with journalists from Germany and abroad.
Automation and digitalization have made textile care processes much more efficient. This is because they not only optimize the flow of goods and data, but also replace burdensome work and simplify interfaces with customers.
Resource efficiency is one of the most important targets in textile care. Many laundries and dry cleaners are re-evaluating their processes in light of today's requirements regarding consumption and emissions.
